Ideal Blend For Less Than Ideal Conditions
Sometimes you have that perfect spot that is tough to get to with equipment. If the area receives a minimum of 3-4 hours of sunlight a day and you can get there by foot, a Simply Scatter plot is the ideal choice. Also, Simply Scatter is an awesome choice for fully prepared seedbeds because of its various seed varieties that last all season and are highly attractive.
- Deer Magnet: The blend of annual clovers, Magnet 260 Brand Radish and other forages are specially designed to be extremely attractive to whitetail all season long.
- Minimal Equipment: Can be planted with minimal equipment, even hand tools.
- Climate Resilient: EXTREMELY drought and cold tolerant.
- Low-Light Tolerant: Seeds tolerate as little as only 3-4 hours of broken or filtered sunlight a day.
WHERE TO PLANT
Location: Full or partial sun, hunt plot, backwoods plot, shaded.
Soil Type: Tolerant to acidity, dark/rich, sandy, rocky, clay
DATES
North: Late July - Mid-September
Central: August- September
South: Mid-September - Early November
RECOMMENDED PH
5.8-7.0
First Steps
- Select an area that receives a minimum of 3-4 hours of sunlight per day. Partially shaded areas can work well. Can be planted in almost any soil although soils with optimal moisture provide best results.
- For optimum results perform a laboratory soil test in advance of planting to determine lime and fertilizer requirements. You can purchase a soil sample test.
- Add the amount of lime recommended in your soil-test report. If no soil test is available, then add a minimum of 500 pounds of lime per 1/4 acre. If possible, lime should be added in advance of planting.
Ground Prep and Planting With No Equipment
- Add the fertilizer recommended in your soil-test report to the seedbed. If no soil test is available, then add 100 lbs. of 19-19-19, or equivalent, fertilizer per ¼ acre.
- EXPOSE THE SOIL by removing existing grasses, sticks, leaves, etc…
- If the soil is not disked or tilled, if possible, drag or rake the fertilizer into the seedbed.
- Broadcast seed over approximately ¼ acre.
Ground Prep and Planting With Equipment
- Disk, till or chisel plow to expose the soil and prepare a good seedbed.
- Add the fertilizer recommended in your soil-test report to the seedbed. If no soil test is available, then add 100 lbs. of 19-19-19 or equivalent fertilizer per ¼ acre.
- Lightly disk or till the fertilizer into the top few inches of the seedbed.
- Smooth the seedbed with a drag or cultipacker.
- Broadcast seed over approximately ¼ acre.
- Use a cultipacker again to assure good seed-to-soil contact (DO NOT DISK SEED INTO GROUND).

Simply Scatter
I got your Simply scatter from a friend in my club. Planted it in September in southern Indiana. i've planted some sort of food for the past 4 years. Ususally wheat which didn't last long. The scatter product is still looking good considering we are seeing more deer this season. I've had from 2-13 in it almost every day. Thank you for producing a great product. Looking for a few more bags next year. Very happy customer.

Simpl Scatter
We're in central Virginia. Our small club planted Simply Scatter in late September due to no rain. Got some moisture and one week later our fields were covered in small plants. From early October until now (November 9th) tee have had 3-11 deer in the plot every day. The plants are out-growing the deer pressure. Some are almost a foot tall and hopefully will last until December. This is our 5th year of plotting and by far our best year. Can't wait to send you a pic or two soon. Good product for attracting deer.

Simply Scatter
I've planted other top name brands in low sun areas before. It grew but never had many deer visit them. Simply scatter not only grew great but deer are hammering it everyday! It is a game changer!

Easy to grow
This blend i would say if you didn’t do a soil test or late to the game and want something to grow this one is the one you want. I had some of it grow in the bed of my truck so if your just starting and want a high quality blend that’s easy to grow I recommend this blend

Minimal work
In Pennsylvania this is a good blend in the hard to get to areas that you can do minimal work to the ground and get results. To top it off the deer and turkey love it!
